Hi! Welcome to Bargain-Alcove, the very place for you to buy, sell, and trade! We have set up this blog as a simple yet effective avenue for you and us to purchase and trade various items and goods such as clothes, trinkets, accessories, games, toys etc! Be it pre-owned or first-hand items, Bargain-Alcove is the perfect place for carrying out your transactions. =)

For buyers:

We sell/trade various items which can be found categorized in our blogs. Some of these are sold from our own stock, while we also sell other items for other people who wish to sell their stuff. as We believe strongly in sale satisfaction, so we make sure that everything we put up for sale/trade in Bargain-Alcove is of good condition.

Payment:
Either in cash (Cash on delivery) or bank transfer(POSB/OCBC) (Delivery after transfer)

Delivery Costs:

• Delivery will be charged a rate of between S$1 to S$4, depending on location within Singapore and the convenience of delivery. Usually the delivery charge would be either $2 or $3, unless the delivery location is remote or out-of-the-way.
• *Delivery charges will be negotiated with buyers before the sale. =) Don't worry, we charge only just enough to cover our traveling expenses.
• International sales -> the buyer would have to pay for postage. We will use Singapore Post for delivery.

For sellers:

We will make use of our blog to provide a wider reach to your potential customer base and do our best to help you sell your items. What we do is we'll examine your item for quality and if its condition is good, we will help you sell it. In essence we won't be buying your goods to sell, rather, we will sell your goods on your behalf. We'll be upfront with you, and state that we will charge you a basic commission for the sale of your items.

The basic commission charge structure:
10% of the transaction
OR S$0.50
The commission will be the higher of the two above charges.

We operate on trust and goodwill, and so what we do is that we'll create an account for you within our own library. We will keep a record of our sales for you and the commission details. You can request for the records anytime if you wish to know your account details.We will then request for payment at a convenient time and in a convenient way. Cash or bank transfer (POSB or OCBC)

Flow of goods:

Seller -> Bargain-Alcove -> Buyer

• Collection will be charged a rate of between S$1 to S$4, depending on location within Singapore and the convenience of collection. Usually the collection charge would be either $2 or $3, unless the delivery location is remote or out-of-the-way.
• *Delivery charges will be negotiated with you before collection. We only charge just enough to cover our traveling expenses. After the completion of the transaction with the buyer, we will update you and transfer the money to your bank account asap. =)

Seller -> Buyer
If you choose to deliver to the buyer yourself, we will finalize the payment details for you and then put you in contact with the buyer for a more convenient delivery. We would also record the commission charge to your account for later collection. =)

Yeap! Basically thats it. We help sellers sell what they want, we help buyers get what they want. As for trading, just contact us for further details. =)
